Meet Brooke Rittner

Brooke Rittner is a skilled bassist who brings a unique musical voice to the stage; she has a strong background in both classical and theatrical orchestra performances. She attended Shenandoah Conservatory, studying under renowned instructors such as Donovan Stokes and Inez Wyrick. She has also honed the technique of solo bassist Lauren Pierce, as an inaugural member of her “Virtuosity Blueprint” program in 2020. Known for her versatility, she brings dynamic basslines to a range of musical styles, collaborating with conductors, educators, and fellow musicians to enhance every performance.
Alongside her performance work, Brooke is passionate about education and community engagement. Currently, she is a member of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, Manassas Ballet Theater Orchestra, and is a passionate bass educator in LCPS, inspiring students of all levels by tailoring lessons to foster technical growth, creativity, and a deep understanding of the instrument! She also maintains a private studio and has served as a sectional coach for the Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra and American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra programs. As she continues to build her career, Brooke remains focused on artistic growth, meaningful collaborations, and contributing to the classical music landscape through both performance and outreach.
