Lettie started playing cello when she was 6 years old. It was a bumpy start, (she didn’t love practicing, but what 6 year old does?) but she eventually grew to love it! By the time she was in middle school she was hooked!

She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Brigham Young University-Provo and moved to Herndon VA with her husband and her cat, Berlioz, in 2022. Lettie has been a member of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra since 2023. She has been teaching cello lessons for over 10 years and believes that anyone at any age can learn how to play an instrument.
